
According to the police, a serious accident occurred on Wednesday morning on the B2 heading towards Nuremberg. Around 7 a.m., several vehicles were lined up in a backup on the right lane due to a complete closure of the A6. During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, four people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on the A6.
A 45-year-old driver attempted to merge onto the B2 at the Penzendorf junction but overlooked a car approaching from behind on the right lane, driven by a 58-year-old. This led to the collision.
The 58-year-old’s car was thrown into a vehicle stopped in the traffic jam as a result of the collision. Meanwhile, the 45-year-old’s car was propelled into two stationary vehicles. According to the police, the woman sustained serious injuries in the accident. The man suffered minor injuries, while the drivers of the vehicles halted in the traffic jam were fortunately unharmed.
