On Tuesday morning, December 2nd, an unknown individual broke into a jewelry store in the city center of Zirndorf. According to a police statement, the suspect smashed a display window on *Nürnberger Straße* at around 3 a.m. and then stole jewelry from the showcase.
The extent of the material damage caused is not yet known, according to police reports. The continuous criminal investigation unit of Middle Franconia initially conducted the forensic measures; the specialized division of the Fürth criminal police has since taken over the ongoing investigation.
