Nürnberg - Cloudy water coming out of the tap can often be a cause for concern. But not on Tuesday and Wednesday in some parts of Nuremberg. N-Ergie is shutting down a pipe for maintenance work and providing tips for affected.

In parts of Nuremberg, the water coming out of the tap may be cloudy on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, N-Ergie emphasizes that there is no health risk. According to a press release from N-Ergie, the reason for the cloudiness is the shutdown of a pipe in the water network.

This can temporarily change the flow direction in adjacent pipes. As a result, natural deposits that have formed on the pipe walls over the years can be loosened and cloud the water.

According to N-Ergie, anyone who notices such cloudiness in their water should simply let the water run for a short time. The cloudiness will then subside and the water will become clear again. The deposits will then have been flushed away and the water can be used as usual.

The following streets are affected: Bismarckstraße, Dr. Carlo-Schmid-Straße, Fichtestraße, Jobster Straße, Lutzstraße, Nettelbeckstraße, Riehlstraße, Schillstraße, Schoppershofstraße, Stielerstraße, Tauroggenstraße, Thumenberger Wegm Walzwerkstraße, Welserstraße.
