Nürnberg - Singer Harry Styles surprises with new products from his brand Pleasing: Instead of new music, there are now intimate products—the reactions online are very mixed.

Pop star Harry Styles is currently making headlines not with a new album as many fans had hoped, but with an unusual product expansion of his lifestyle brand Pleasing: The 31-year-old has launched a vibrator and a lubricant.

Harry Styles gained fame in 2010 with the boy band One Direction through the British talent show "X-Factor." After the band split in 2016, Styles launched a successful solo career, scoring international hits with songs like "Watermelon Sugar," "As It Was," and "Sign of the Times." In addition to his music, he has also appeared as an actor in films such as "Don't Worry Darling," "My Policeman," and the Marvel film "Eternals."

"Radical pursuit of what feels good"

In 2021, the Grammy winner founded the brand "Pleasing," initially focusing on nail polish. Since then, the company has expanded to offer skincare products, fragrances, clothing, and accessories. With the introduction of a vibrator and lubricant, "Pleasing" is now adding two so-called "Intimacy Tools" to its collection. According to the brand's website, the products are intended to "bring pleasure exactly where it belongs—in your hands" and are "the result of our radical pursuit of what feels good."

In a press release cited by the US magazine "People", Pleasing emphasizes that its products are not about provocation or following trends. Rather, they aim to explore "sexual well-being" and "offer an invitation for a broader, more open conversation about sex as a space for connection, expression, and self-discovery for everyone."

Mixed reaction from fans

Fans reacted with surprise to the announcement. While some fans had hoped for new music and expressed disappointment, others received the product expansion with enthusiasm. "That wasn't on my bingo card for 2025," commented one user under Pleasing's Instagram post. Another wrote, "Honestly? Awesome!"

The company announced on Instagram that the products sold out within minutes. The items were exclusively available in the USA and the UK. For Germany, the website only states "coming soon" for now. However, efforts are being made to expand international availability "as quickly as possible."
