Nürnberg - Summer means swim time – Nuremberg's pools now offer online ten-visit passes and after-work tickets. Here's everything you need to know.

Attention swimmers: Ten-visit passes for *Nürnberg's* pools and after-work tickets for outdoor pools are now available for purchase online. This allows bathers to save time at the entrance and conveniently access the pool.

Ten-Ride Passes as Online Tickets

The ten-entry tickets offer two hours of swimming time at the „Langwasserbad“ and „Südstadtbad“, and a full day at „Katzwangbad“, „Nordostbad“, and the outdoor pools. Mayor Christian Vogel, the first managing director of NürnbergBad, states in a press release: “The ten-entry ticket is perfect for sports swimmers: two hours is ideal for swimming laps, and this is often possible even before work.” In fact, both „Langwasserbad“ and „Südstadtbad“ open as early as 6 a.m. from Monday to Friday, while „Nordostbad“ opens at 7 a.m. With online tickets, swimmers can skip taking a “detour” to the ticket counter, simply scanning their tickets at the entry reader and heading straight into the pool.

Buyers of the ten-entry tickets receive an eleventh entry free of charge. Adults pay 54 euros for such a ticket. Matthias Bach, the commercial managing director, comments: “Eleven for the price of ten, we've had this pricing model for a long time, but now it's conveniently available online as well.”

End-of-Day Discount at the Outdoor Pool

If you're looking to save some money, consider heading to the outdoor pool after 5 PM. On weekdays, discounted evening rates are available. Previously, these tickets could only be purchased at the counters. Now, they are also available online. The tickets are valid for „Westbad“, „Naturgartenbad“, and „Stadionbad“. Adults pay 3.70 euros, while children and teenagers from 6 to 17 years old pay 1.80 euros.
